Seven tokens dropped from Binance Alpha
Binance has removed seven tokens from Binance Alpha, its early-stage token discovery list, according to its weekly announcement reported by U.Today. The removal was scheduled for October 23.
The affected tokens are PTB (Portal to Bitcoin), AA (ARAI), OWL (Owlto Finance), DORA, ELIZAOS (elizaOS), MEMES (memes will continue) and a Chinese-named meme token, 哭哭马 (错版马).
Why Binance removed them
Binance said the tokens no longer meet the standards required to stay on the Alpha list. It did not give a separate reason for each asset. Instead, it described the move as part of its regular review of featured tokens, framed around user protection and transparency.
Binance Alpha is not the same as a full spot listing on Binance. It showcases early-stage projects, and Binance reviews that list on a rolling basis, so removals like this are a routine part of how the platform works.
What happens to holders
The removal does not freeze the tokens. Binance said users can still withdraw or sell the affected assets through supported Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet interfaces, including an instant-sell option on Binance Alpha.
What it means for traders
Removal from a curated list usually cuts visibility, and for small-cap tokens that often means thinner liquidity. If you hold any of the seven tokens, check where you can still exit and how deep the order books are before deciding what to do. Wider spreads and sudden price moves are common after visibility drops. More generally, Alpha-style lists are an early filter, not a quality guarantee, so treat new additions with the same caution.
