TL;DR

Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the US logged a second consecutive day of net inflows on Tuesday. According to Cointelegraph, citing SoSoValue data, US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted about $176 million in net inflows, up from $110 million on Monday, for a two-day total of $286 million.

October outflows almost erased

The two-day rebound follows nearly $774 million in withdrawals last Thursday and Friday. With Tuesday’s figure included, October net outflows for the spot Bitcoin ETFs narrowed to roughly $26 million, while year-to-date net inflows stand at about $850 million, the report says.

Bitcoin traded around $80,818 at the time of Cointelegraph’s publication, up 1.6% over 24 hours according to CoinGecko, putting the price back above the $80,000 level it lost late last week.

Sentiment recovers, but no greed yet

Alternative.me’s Crypto Fear & Greed Index rose to 51 from 48 the previous day, keeping it in “Neutral” territory. A week earlier the gauge read 63, or “Greed”, so market mood has improved from last week’s dip without fully recovering.

Ether ETFs keep losing money

The picture is different for Ethereum. US spot Ether ETFs recorded about $149 million in net outflows across Monday and Tuesday, after four straight weeks of net outflows. Their October net outflows reached $1.32 billion through Tuesday, putting the month on track for the largest withdrawals since November 2025.

What it means for traders

Back-to-back ETF inflows are one of the clearest signals of spot demand from US institutions, and they arrive just ahead of today’s Federal Reserve rate decision, when volatility and funding rates tend to jump. The split between Bitcoin inflows and Ether outflows also keeps the ETH/BTC ratio under pressure.
