TL;DR

US spot Ethereum ETFs have recorded about $1.07 billion in net outflows over the past 30 days, according to SoSoValue data cited by U.Today. ETH trades near $2,333, close to a long-term moving average around $2,300, after pulling back from highs near $2,800.

Ethereum TradeReviewed News Desk

Ethereum’s institutional bid has faded over the past month. The eleven US spot Ethereum ETFs tracked by SoSoValue posted roughly $1.07 billion in net outflows over the last 30 days, U.Today reported on October 26, as ETH struggled to hold key technical levels.

The ETF numbers

Despite the recent selling, the funds still hold about $12.56 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch. Their combined net assets stand near $14.53 billion, equal to about 5.11% of Ethereum’s total market capitalization, according to the same SoSoValue figures.

There is one small positive: the latest reported daily flow was a net inflow of about $4.35 million. That is tiny next to a billion dollars of withdrawals, and a single session of inflows does not confirm that institutions are returning, but it is the first green print after a sustained run of red.

Where ETH price stands

ETH was trading around $2,333 on October 26 based on TradingView data, after a sharp correction from recent highs near $2,800. The price has slipped below several moving averages and is now close to a long-term moving average in the $2,300 area, which U.Today identifies as a decisive support. A sustained break below it could open a move toward $2,200, while reclaiming the $2,450 to $2,500 zone would strengthen the case for a recovery.

The ETF weakness mirrors a broader pattern across crypto funds this month. US spot Bitcoin ETFs also logged net outflows for October so far, even after a positive week, as investors reacted to hot inflation data ahead of this week’s Federal Reserve decision.

What it means for traders

ETF flows have become one of the clearest gauges of institutional appetite for ETH. Watch whether the daily inflow turns into a streak; several consecutive positive sessions near the $2,300 support would be a more credible bottoming signal than price alone. Until then, the path of least resistance remains choppy, and the Fed decision on October 28 could add volatility either way.
