JPMorgan Asset Management added Solana as a network for its tokenized money market funds MONY and JLTXX, available to qualified US investors through Morgan Money. JLTXX is a government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.
The biggest US bank keeps spreading its tokenized products across public blockchains. JPMorgan Asset Management said its two tokenized money market funds, MONY and JLTXX, are now available on Solana, in addition to Ethereum where they launched.
The two funds
My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) launched in December 2025 as a Rule 506(c) private placement offering eligible investors exposure to US dollar yields. JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX) is a US registered government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act, which requires reserves to be held in safe, liquid assets.
Qualified investors subscribe and redeem through Morgan Money, JPMorgan’s liquidity management platform, and receive token balances at their blockchain addresses. Eligibility rules still apply, so the funds are not open to retail investors. JPMorgan Asset Management reported $4.8 trillion in assets under management as of 30 September.
Why multi-chain
Paul Przybylski, the firm’s global head of product for digital and tokenized assets, said the expansion gives stablecoin issuers and institutional investors access to the same funds on the networks they already use. The move follows JPMorgan’s decision this week to put its JPM Coin deposit token on Ethereum mainnet, and Solana’s Alpenglow upgrade, which cut finality to about 150 milliseconds.
Tokenized money market funds have become a key building block for onchain finance. They are used as collateral, as reserve assets by stablecoin issuers and as a place to park idle cash with yield.
What it means for traders
- Institutional activity on Solana grows: more real world assets on the chain support its narrative, though listings alone do not guarantee demand for SOL.
- Stablecoin reserves go onchain: funds like JLTXX could make stablecoin backing more transparent.
- Trade SOL efficiently: compare costs in our crypto exchange fee index and exchanges in our exchange comparison. Not financial advice.
