OKX to convert VELODROME to AERO at 1:0.044, delist old pairs

If you hold VELODROME on OKX, you need to mark a few dates. The exchange said it will support the project’s planned migration to AERO at a ratio of 1 VELODROME to 0.044 AERO, following the official plan of the Velodrome team.

The schedule (UTC)

• 30 October, 03:00 to 04:00: pending orders on VELODROME/USDC and VELODROME/EUR are cancelled and both pairs are delisted. Convert, copy trading and trading bots for these pairs are suspended.
• 3 November, 03:00 to 04:00: VELODROME/USDT is delisted and remaining orders are cancelled.
• 3 November, 04:00: deposits, withdrawals and transfers of VELODROME are suspended.
• 3 November, 06:00: account snapshot in both funding and trading accounts.
• 3 November 12:00 to 4 November 10:00: migration window. OKX says it may take longer because it requires coordination with the project and other parties.

After the migration, converted AERO will be credited to the funding account. OKX will announce AERO deposit, withdrawal and trading times separately.

Fine print

Tokens that are being withdrawn or not yet credited at snapshot time will not be included. Holdings under 10 VELODROME, excluding open orders, will not be migrated, so small balances could be lost if left on the exchange. During the migration your VELODROME balance will show no valuation, and the token will disappear from your asset list once converted.

Velodrome and Aerodrome are related decentralized exchanges on Optimism and Base, and the move consolidates the ecosystem under the AERO token.

• Check dust balances: if you hold fewer than 10 VELODROME, decide before the snapshot whether to sell or top up.
• Expect thin liquidity: delisting days often bring wider spreads. Avoid market orders on illiquid pairs.
