Solana exchange-traded funds in the US had their roughest session in more than ten months on Tuesday. According to BeInCrypto, citing SoSoValue data, US spot SOL ETFs recorded $19.16 million in net outflows on October 27, the largest single-day exit since the $32.19 million withdrawn on December 3, 2025.
On track for the worst week since launch
Monday already saw $8.23 million leave the funds, so the first two days of the week add up to $27.38 million. That is more than the $25.52 million that left in the week ending October 16 and the $24.81 million exit in the week ending October 9, which broke a 14-week buying streak.
October is now the worst month in the products’ history, with month-to-date outflows of $99.62 million. The only other month in the red was June, when about $787,000 left. Total net assets have dropped to $1.54 billion from $1.96 billion on September 25, but cumulative net inflows fell only about $93 million over that stretch, which means most of the decline comes from SOL’s lower price rather than redemptions.
SOL sits less than $2 above $100
SOL traded at $101.87 at the time of the report, up 1.92% on the day but down 13.8% in October and 3.7% over the past week. A losing October would be the token’s eighth negative month of 2026.
BeInCrypto had earlier flagged a possible head-and-shoulders pattern with a neckline near $100; a daily close below it would confirm the pattern and open the way toward $80. MCO Global Research puts hourly support between $98.86 and $100.47, with a swing low at $98.62, and says a move above $109.20 would cancel its bearish count.
Seasonality offers mixed comfort. CryptoRank data shows a median November gain of 15.3% for SOL since 2020, yet last November the token fell 28.3% even as the newly launched ETFs drew a record $419.38 million.
What it means for traders
ETF flows are a direct read on US institutional demand, and right now that demand is leaving SOL while the price tests a level many charts treat as the line in the sand. A clean daily close under $100 would likely bring more volatility and wider swings in funding rates, while a reclaim of $109 would weaken the bearish setup.
