- Copy trading opens the same trades as a lead trader in your account, scaled to the amount you allocate.
- You pay normal trading fees plus a profit share on net profits: on BingX 10% to 32% on perpetual futures depending on the trader tier, on OKX up to 30%.
- Losses are copied too. Start small, cap your margin and use a stop loss per trader.
- BingX lets you practise copy trading with virtual VST funds before using real money.
How copy trading works
You pick a trader, set an amount and a mode (fixed margin per order or a ratio of the trader position). Each time the trader opens or closes, your account does the same. Profit share is settled after positions close: weekly on Mondays for BingX perpetual and OKX, daily on BingX standard futures.
What it costs
- Trading fees: the normal futures fees (BingX 0.02% maker / 0.05% taker standard rate).
- Profit share: only on net profit. BingX public tiers: Bronze 10%, Silver 16%, Gold 20%, Diamond 32%. Private copy trading can be 0% to 50%.
- No subscription fee on BingX copy trading.
How to pick a trader
- Look at 90 day or longer history, not one great week.
- Check maximum drawdown and leverage used.
- Prefer traders with many copiers and steady AUM.
- Split money across 2 or 3 traders.
How to start copy trading on BingX
- Open a BingX account and finish identity verification.
- Practise with VST (virtual funds) first.
- Transfer USDT to your futures or copy trading account.
- Pick a trader, set a fixed amount and a stop loss.
- Review results weekly and stop copying if drawdown grows.
