Crypto withdrawal fees compared: USDT, BTC, ETH and SOL on 7 exchanges (October 2026 data)

Moving crypto off an exchange costs anywhere from almost nothing to several dollars, and the network you pick matters more than the exchange. On 29 October 2026 we pulled the withdrawal fees of BingX, OKX, Binance, Bitget, KuCoin, HTX and Bitvavo for 17 common coin and network routes, straight from each exchange’s official fee page or public API. Sending USDT over Tron (TRC20) costs about $1.50 almost everywhere, while the same USDT over BNB Smart Chain or TON costs $0.01 to $0.30 on most of them.

Key findings

• Tron is no longer the cheap USDT route. USDT on TRC20 costs 1.5 USDT at BingX, OKX, Binance and Bitget, 1.2 at HTX and 1.99 at KuCoin. On several exchanges USDT over Ethereum (ERC20) is now cheaper than TRC20: OKX 0.27 USDT, HTX 0.3, Binance 0.6, BingX 1.
• Cheapest USDT routes: BNB Smart Chain (0.01 USDT at Binance, Bitget and HTX, 0.15 at BingX) and TON (0.017 USDT at BingX, 0.018 at OKX).
• Bitcoin: one on-chain BTC withdrawal costs $1.20 at OKX, $1.44 at Bitvavo, $1.60 at Binance and Bitget, $3.19 at BingX and $7.18 at KuCoin (0.00009 BTC). The most expensive fee is about six times the cheapest.
• Ethereum mainnet: ETH withdrawals range from $0.10 (Bitget) and $0.15 (OKX) to $3.46 (KuCoin). On Arbitrum One the same ETH withdrawal costs between $0.00 and $0.46.
• Who is cheapest most often: counting the cheapest exchange per route (ties broken alphabetically): OKX 10, Binance 2, BingX 2, Bitget 2, HTX 1. OKX lists its minimum fee, so its real fee at withdrawal can be a bit higher.
• BingX (our number 1 for overall features) is the cheapest for USDT on TON and USDC on Base, but has higher flat fees than OKX for BTC, ETH and SOL on their main networks.

n/a = the exchange does not offer this network for the coin in its fee list. “Suspended” = listed, but withdrawals on that network were switched off when we checked. Dollar values use CoinGecko prices at the time of the snapshot.

How to pay less when you withdraw

• Pick the network first, then the exchange. The same USDT costs 1.5 USDT on Tron and 0.01 to 0.15 USDT on BNB Smart Chain at most big exchanges. Our guide USDT TRC20 vs ERC20 vs BEP20 explains which network to use.
• The receiving side must support the same network. Sending on a network the wallet or exchange does not support can lose the coins. For XRP, always add the destination tag.
• Fees are flat, so withdraw less often. A $1.50 fee is 1.5% of a $100 withdrawal but 0.15% of $1,000.
• Check the fee screen. Exchanges change withdrawal fees with network congestion. The fee shown in the app before you confirm is the one you pay.

Trading fees matter too: compare the lowest fee crypto exchanges. In our overall ranking BingX is number 1 and OKX number 2. EU users: product and coin availability can differ on the EU entities of these exchanges under MiCA; on 29 October the OKX Europe fee page did not list USDT.
